I

"But if thou live remembered not to be,
Die single and thine image dies with thee."

William Shakespeare

I stand here in awe and affliction
gazing the stars that light conviction.
Faithless, hopeless and reckless,
I enjoy and live in a bright darkness.
And the conviction that afflicts my standing
darkens the road of the blind hoping.
Enlightened, balanced by fear
all that awesomeness to vanish and disappear.
Steal the secrets of the fading lie
staring at the truth that passes by.
Reaching out. An utter and swift glance,
I swap my feelings by changing my stance.
The clouds that be shall not pass
and the song of me will turn to glass.
